T3/T4 on LT1

Is this even possible? I was talking with a guy yesterday who traded his rims for a turbo. I told him he was silly because his car needs his shoes to move.

Its possible, you can put a t25 on a v12 if you want. Will it work well, not likely, about like the t25 example.

Its likely too small to work well.

Self Cooling Intercooler
Is there such a thing? What I am thinking of is something like like air/water intercooler but instead of water passing thru it, the turbo sucks air thru it, then feeds the charge thru the side where it normally would on an air water intercooler. Thus cooling itself

He traded a whole set of rims for a T3/T4 turbo?

im putting twin t-3/t-4 hybrids on my 351w(427).the t-4 exaust will help it flow better but on a v8 they use the t-3 for twin turbo set-ups from what i was told.they do make big hp if sized correct.good luck

Just FYI a t3/ t4 hybrid is nearly always a t3 exhaust and t4 compressor. The other way is pretty pointless in most cases.

really I was thinking and have been told that they use a t-4 exaust on a t-3 wheel because the exaust is the restrictive side and would help a t-3 flow better.I am just learning about the t-3 t-4 and what your saying makes a lot of sense.so a t-3/t-4 hybrid turbo has a t-4 wheel and t-3exaust.oh well you learn something new everyday.good luck with your build
