That is why I took a step back and now am toying with a turbo 4 and considering a VGT upgrade

Blownshovel Joined: January 23rd, 2009, 8:17 pm Posts: 64	Re: Turbo Chevelles 454, Turbo 400 Trans Small Procharger ran low 10's/high 9's on pump gas (3800lbs) Fabbed up a turbo kit and put too much turbo on the car. Broke chit nearly every time I drove it. It should have gone deep into the 9's if it would have stayed together. I'm currently re-evaluating the combo. May switch to a larger P-charger or slightly less turbo. At one point 1000hp sounded cool but essentially useless driving around town.
